Painted on site at the Crooked River below Bowman Dam, near Prineville, Oregon in May. There were a pair of bald eagles nesting across the river, and an unfazed beaver chowing down on moss. Our drama for the day was hoping that all the little goslings floating downstream with their watchful parents made it home safely.
