Painted after an early morning drive through Lamar Valley, where hundreds and hundreds of bison (and babies) ambled through the valley and meadows. Yellowstone is an utterly magical place. This is looking north toward Abiathar Peak, from Soda Butte. I had some fun kid visitors while working on this one.
