I absolutely loved doing this painting of the quirky, tilty, cranky Bulson House in the Sierra Valley Nature Preserve. Set out in the open sagebrush plains in Beckwourth, CA, with distant mountains looming, the shape and subtle color changes of this old house were a challenge and a joy to capture alongside friends.
