Painted during the Lost Sierra Plein Air festival. Despite living quite close to this area, we had never spent much time in Plumas or Sierra Counties (no wonder they call it the Lost Sierra). It is spectacular, and I was grateful to explore the farms, mines, towns, lakes, and mountains for a week this spring.
