We arrived in Grand Tetons National Park during a storm. For two days, the clouds were so low and thick over the mountains that you wouldn’t even know they were there. We bided our time visiting galleries, the National Museum of Wildlife Art, and Moo’s Ice Cream in Jackson. Finally, the storm lifted, and I painted this scene from Teton Park Road while the clouds lifted and clung to the mountaintops.
